EN - The DVD remote control was an infra-red remote control for the PlayStation 2 designed to allow easier control of DVD movies. The first remote SCPH-10150 came bundled with an infra-red receiver dongle SCPH-10160 which attached to one of the PlayStation 2's controller ports; this dongle was not needed on later PS2 models (beginning from SCPH-500xx) and slimline PS2 models (SCPH-700xx to SCPH-900xx) as they feature an integrated IR port. (PAL version)

PT - o controlo remoto de DVD é um comando de infravermelhos para a PlayStation 2, desenvolvido para permitir um controlo mais fácil de filmes em DVD. O primeiro comando SCPH-10150 vinha com um um receptor de infra-vermelhos SCPH-10160 para ser ligado a uma das portas de controlador da PlayStation 2; Este receptor não era necessário em modelos posteriores da PS2 (início do SCPH-500xx) e modelos slimline PS2 (SCPH-700xx a SCPH-900xx) pois os mesmos já incluem uma porta de infravermelhos integrada.
